KAAC COMPETITIONS

KAAC administers these programs for students each academic year.

KAAC Membership fees (dues) for the 2025-26 season will be $450 for Middle Grades and High School divisions and $350 for the Elementary division.
These dues will now include the annual FPS materials for all coaches: the FPS coach handbook, student handbook, practice future scenes, and research packets for all competitive topics. These materials will be available when you login with your coach password. [This was traditionally sold in the store]
These dues also include all of the competitions listed here, there will not be a separate fee for these events once the annual dues are paid, coaches can simply register their students by the event deadlines.

The Kentucky Governor's Cup allows schools to compete in District, Region, and State level competitions each academic season. Students can take part in Quick Recall, Future Problem Solving, Content Assessment, and Written Composition to earn points for their school.

KAAC also offers these events each competition year. However, these events have a separate registration fee to participate (these are not included in the annual membership fee).
