Camp Staff Sign-Ups

To enrich the student experience both in the classroom and in academic competitions like Governor’s Cup, KAAC offers summer camps for both Middle Grades and High School students. Both camps feature instruction in Quick Recall, Content Assessment and Future Problem Solving.

The High School camp is for current 8th through 11th graders. The Middle Grades camp is for current 5th through 7th graders.

2026 Dates

  • High School: July 7-10, 2026
  • Middle Grades: July 14-17, 2026

Registration will open in February 2026.

Both camps are at the beautiful and historic Berea College in Central Kentucky.

Camp Scholarships

Some camp scholarships are offered for both Middle Grades and High School sessions. The application can be found at the link below and must be submitted no later than April 20, 2026.

Before filling out the application, you will need:

  1. Recommendation letter from an academic team coach/teacher. This should be scanned or saved as a .pdf and uploaded to the application.
  2. Essay titled "How This Scholarship Will Help Me Become a Better Academic Team Member." This will be typed into the application (you can type it in a document first and copy/paste it to the application)
