Middle and High School students.

Students who advance to State in Written Composition will not be able to compete in this event due to schedule conflicts.

WHAT

Students will compete against each other to earn individual points using a round of Quick Recall questions. No bonus, just toss-up.

WHY

To be named the best Quick Recall player in KY.

WHEN

Saturday, March 21, 2026 (during the State Tournament weekend).

WHERE

Galt House Hotel - Louisville, KY

HOW

Students will need to register for this event and pay the $35 entry fee.  Registration is first come, first served as spots are limited. Registration opens on December 1, 2025 and closes February 28, 2026 or when all spots are filled.

AWARDS

The top 10 in both middle and high school divisions will be recognized during the component event awards on Monday at State Tournament.
