FPS & Written Comp Practice System

KAAC has improved the FPS and Written Composition practice system for the 2025-26 season.

Coaches can use the system to have students practice an FPS book or a Written Composition piece.

Leagues can use the system to have students write their FPS or Composition booklet for evaluation.

For Coaches

A. Go to the practice system link above

B. On this page, you can enter:

  • Coach name
  • Coach email (this is where the booklet will be sent once students submit)
  • Student names (up to 4)
  • Choose the Division
  • Choose the Competition
  • Click Create

C. That will generate passwords for the students to use and will send the coach an email.

D. Students can use those passwords to go to kaac.com and click the LOGIN button.

E. Once logged in, they can write their booklet and hit submit.

  • The prompts or future provided by the system are there for practice and may not be aligned with current topics.

F. Once the student(s) submit their booklet, the system will email the coach:

  • If it were an FPS booklet, they would get the student work and would then be able to evaluate it on paper.
  • If it were a Composition booklet, the AI system would score the piece and provide instant feedback for the student.

For Leagues

A. Go to the practice system link above

B. On this page, you can enter:

  • Coach name
  • Coach email (this is where the booklet will be sent once students submit)
    • May need to enter your league Commissioner's name and email
  • Student names (up to 4)
  • Choose the Division
  • Choose the Competition
  • Click Create

C. That will generate passwords for the students to use and will send the coach an email.

D. Students can use those passwords to go to kaac.com and click the LOGIN button.

E. Once logged in, students will write their booklet and hit submit.

  • The prompts or future provided by the system are there for practice and may not be aligned with current topics. Your commissioner may provide you with the prompt/future scene they want you to use. In such a case, you will just ignore what is in the system and write on the one you are given.

F. Once the student(s) submit their booklet, the system will email the coach or commissioner:

  • If it were an FPS booklet, they would get the student's work and then be able to evaluate it on paper.
  • If it were a Composition booklet, they would get the student's work and then be able to evaluate it on paper. The AI will score it, but unless you are using the system prompt, you would need to ignore that score and evaluate it based on the league prompt instead.
