Candidates must exemplify the highest standards of ethical conduct and moral character. Coaches are evaluated on the merits of (1) coaching achievements or (2) contributions toacademic competition and service outside of “expected” coaching duties. Administrators and officials are considered on the basis of their service and promotion of academic competition.
