Persinger to Serve as KAAC Executive Director

The KAAC Board of Directors has hired Bradley Persinger from Augusta, KY as its new Executive Director, effective July 1.

Retiring KAAC Executive Director John Bennett stated, “Brad has a long and distinguished record of service to the Kentucky academic competition community. His extensive program knowledge and experience will ensure that KAAC continues to expand academic competition opportunities for Kentucky students.”

A member of the KAAC Hall of Fame, Persinger currently teaches math and science in the Robertson County School district and serves as a Board representative from Section 6. He returned to Kentucky in 2020 after serving three years as Program Director/Compliance Administrator for the Future Problem Solving Program, International in Melbourne, Florida.

Persinger said, “I am excited to have the opportunity to lead this amazing organization. Academic competition has been an integral part of my professional career and I look forward to continue serving the students of Kentucky.”
