  • FPS—Junior Division: report at 11:00 AM to the Sampson Room, Galt House East, 1st floor

Evaluators
Sunday, March 20

All FPS evaluators must score onsite. Evaluators must bring an Internet-capable device that can open, save and manipulate an Excel file.

  • Evaluators for both grade levels may begin at either 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM. There is a short orientation before scoring begins.
  • Report to the Daisy Room, Galt House West, 2nd floor (moved from Segell).
  • Evaluators are dismissed after reading their assignment of five booklets.
  • Evaluators MUST be finished by 3:30 PM.

Composition

Readers
Sunday, March 20

Readers may choose to score remotely or at the Galt House. Readers must use an Internet-capable device that can open, save and manipulate an Excel file.

  • Remote readers may begin at either 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM. There is a short orientation before scoring begins.
  • Remote readers will be sent a videoconference link for monitoring purposes.
  • Onsite readers report to the Terrace Room, 16th floor, East Tower at either 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM. There is a short orientation before scoring begins.
  • Readers will read a maximum of 15 booklets.
  • Readers must be finished by 2:30 PM.

Written Assessment Proctors

Sunday, March 20

  • High School proctors report at 9:00 AM Sunday to the Archibald Room, 3rd floor, West Tower. Proctors and are dismissed at 12:30 PM or when the second testing time frame is completed.
  • Middle Grades proctors report at 4:30 PM Sunday to the Archibald Room, 3rd floor, West Tower. Proctors are dismissed at 7:30 PM or when the second testing time frame is completed.

Quick Recall Officials

Sunday, March 20

Each school must provide a certified scorer, or a timer who will serve as a buzzer operator for the Sunday rounds. An experienced and competent judge or moderator may also fulfill this requirement, pending KAAC approval. Officials must be present at the assignment meeting and remain available to work all Sunday rounds for their grade level.

Absent officials will cause their team to forfeit Quick Recall.

Middle Grades

  • Mandatory Assignment Meeting: 7:45 AM, Carroll/Ford Room, 2nd floor East Tower
  • Quick Recall Rounds: 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM

High School

  • Mandatory Assignment Meeting: 1:00 PM, Carroll/Ford Room, 2nd floor East Tower
  • Quick Recall Rounds: 4:00 to 8:00 PM
